A little about Betty Lammersdorf
Having been the child of diplomats who were continuously moving; Betty honed the fine art of selection and omission revered by those with nomadic lifestyles. Organization was a critical factor in a family of seven; particularly necessary as the five children were young girls! As the family prepared to move, the balancing act of what would stay and what would go was repeated. Decorating and re-establishing each new domicile became a familiar task the family enjoyed and excelled in!
These days the organizational actions Irene applies to her projects are automatic; ingrained by years of change and necessity. Boxes are immediately unpacked and organized. Clutter is tamed. Memorabilia, photos and collections are brought to the forefront. Order is established. Decorating begins! The gratification is widespread. The exasperation and unease of clutter and disorganization is whisked away.
